The Zepic Journey
How It All Began...
Many moons ago, back in the year of 2002, I received my first ever board game called Pay Day when I was a teenager (which I still love). I would play Pay Day by myself many a night, having lots of fun trying to acquire more money than the previous session.
The Collection Grew...
Skipping forwards to 2009, I met Gary, my now husband. We were introduced to another board game, Carcassonne, by Gary's brother. It was then that the love of board games exploded, starting from the Carcassonne expansions, to a much wider collection (which is still growing!) that we have today.
Inspiration flowed through...
My love of board games truly inspired me to try and create a bookshop and board game cafe company. I then decided in 2023 that it was time to turn my dream into a reality. I could now organise my own events and be a wider part of this incredible community!
Fast Forward To Today!
As of March of 2023, I have created several events in and around Coventry and Warwickshire. Zepic Games has since been invited to a festival, alongside Comic-cons as an attraction. I am now striving to open a board game cafe in Daventry centre, so board games can be accessible for all; to be enjoyed at people's own leisure, and so that so many other people can discover the joy of being a part of a wider community!
